PROJECT SUMMARY:
Exploring the physical form of an everyday object to create novel and interesting iPhone photo compositions with no photo manipulation. Colors are achieved using a colored lightbulb, and double-exposures are created using a lens. Explorations of the match include arranging, stacking, burning paper, and juxtaposing the organic burn shapes with the sharp edge of the match. The experimentation in the images become more complex and abstract left to right, until the match is absent from the final photo.
